What Can Obama Do? Nothing

Why is there a focus, by some, on getting President Obama to say more about the violence in Chicago? Besides the political ploy, I see the point but I know they know President Obama can't cause any change to happen. 

So called Black leaders have been pushing for the violence to end since I was a teenager. It hasn't happened yet. President Obama chastised the Black men who aren't staying around for their children, but no change has happened because of what he said. 

So, why is it on him and not on local people?

Susan Rice, Hosed Good, Real Good

So, instead of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton being told to go on
the talk show circuit to explain what was happening in Benghazi, Susan
Rice was sent out to do the tour. Susan Rice got a unclassified
briefing, FROM THE CIA, that stated exactly what Susan Rice
said on that talking head show Sunday. For telling what she knew,
Susan Rice was raked over the coals by Republicans and, ultimately,
she withdrew her name from consideration for the Secretary of State
post.

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton has escaped any condemnation. But wait! She
said she will appear in front of congress! But wait! Now she won't
because she "fainted and hit her head" and now has a "concussion."

Yeah. OK.

OH, by the way? A report on Benghazi is out and, lo and behold, there
were security lapses starting with the posts, supposed to be manned by
Libyans, being deserted before the attack.

Was Susan Rice responsible for any of that? NO!

But Hillary still is sitting pretty, right?

Kasandra Perkins Died As A Result of Domestic Violence

Kasandra Perkins, the mother of a 3 month old girl, was killed by her "boyfriend," who happened to be a football player. Kasandra Perkins, and her daughter, are victims of domestic violence. In this case, the weapon used wasn't her boyfriend's fists, nor a knife, nor a car, but a gun. 

I mention the weapon here only for one reason: it doesn't matter what means her boyfriend used to kill her. Kasandra Perkins is dead and her baby no longer has a living mother. And, as I write this, what is now being reported is the murderer has a history of domestic violence against other women.

The killer's occupation is not an issue. The means the killer used to kill Kasandra Perkins is not an issue. The rate of violence for people who have the killer's occupation is not an issue. Domestic violence is the issue and Kasandra Perkins is dead.

The rest of it is noise. End of story.
