Observation On Unemployment Stats

Here is an interesting observation about the reporting of unemployment statistics.

During the Bush administration, conservatives , Republicans, and the conservative media crowed about the low unemployment numbers, and rarely, if at all, commented on the unemployment numbers for Blacks (unless the minimum wage was mentioned) or the "real unemployment numbers" that included people who "gave up" looking for a job. However Black progressives/liberals seemed to always use these statistics as well.

Now that Obama is the president, Republicans, conservatives, and the conservative media, are using these numbers (Black unemployment, "real" unemployment) to indict the Obama administration policies. Meanwhile, Black progressives/liberals are continuing to use those numbers as well.

I find that "interesting."
