Weak Handshake

I met my daughter's "beau" last week.

Yesterday, I was talking with her and I said, "Oh, and tell him the next time I meet him, he better not have a wimpy handshake again."

She laughed and text'd him. He didn't appreciate my comment.

My response?

"Tell him to get over it and get a better handshake."

Later, in the car, we had a conversation that continued along the lines of boys/young men raised without men around.

I won't go into that conversation because of too much personal bidness would get put out there, but it was interesting to have that conversation and to hear how much I said actually was heard.
