What's taken so long for a service like Google Wallet? Isn't the U.S. supposed to be the technology leader? This has been available in Asia, just, like,.... FOREVER!!!!!

In America, you can open up a business with an old cash register and make money. In other parts of the world you can't even get an old cash register. This is the leapfrog phenomenon, but it's not necessarily a source of excellence. Newer tech, like new suburbs, are more fragile than those older proven ones. I don't need to tell you this. For people who are doing a lot of business already, there's no incentive to change modalities.
